Zen Bathroom

It all started with the request to use a Japanese soaking tub, taking the place of a mundane 10'-6" by 5'-9" bathroom with standard tub, toilet, and vanity.  The clients have a fabulous art collection and so we knew that the glass Buddha would be a focal point.  Then they found the fabulous gold artwork and the bath was complete!  The goal was to create a moody, relaxing soaking experience.  Teak paneling, teak deck, pebble flooring, marble and walnut vanity, and warm gold accents are set against matte walls and ceiling of Sherwin Williams Iron Ore.
